Making Appointments Online

We have introduced an online facility enabling you to book doctors appointments and request prescriptions online.

If you would like to use the online booking and prescription service you have to register with the practice first.

You will receive a registration form from the practice which you will need to activate your patient access account before being able to utilise the service.

PLEASE NOTE - NURSES APPOINTMENTS

It is not possible to book appointments to see the nurse using the online service due to the fact that the time needed for each appointment is allocated dependant on the clinical task to be carried out. (such as cervical smears, immunisations and chronic disease monitoring)

The online booking service does not offer the facility to book different appointment lengths accordingly.

PLEASE NOTE

In response to the recent increase in demand for routine and emergency appointments, we have made provisions to increase the number of appointments that are available both in advance and on the day.

We endeavour to address all your concerns within your 10 minute consultation but if you have multiple issues to discuss it may be the case that we ask you to return at a later date.

We also offer appointments on alternate Tuesday Evenings and some Saturday mornings if you find it difficult to attend during office hours.

Please enquire at the reception when booking your appointment for further details.

How to make an appointment

You can make an appointment to see a doctor or nurse by:

• Making it in person
• Calling the surgery number

Doctors appointments can also be booked using our online booking service

PLEASE BE MINDFUL THAT APPOINTMENTS WITH A DOCTOR ARE 10 MINUTES IN DURATION

If your condition is non-urgent, you can expect to see a GP within two to five working days, though you may have to wait longer if you want to see a specific GP.

If you don’t need an appointment within five working days, you also have the option to book up to 4 weeks in advance if this is more convenient for you.

We also run extended hours surgeries on alternate Tuesdays and Saturday mornings
