Training Practice
GP Training
We are proud to provide GP training at Broomhill & Lodge Moor Surgeries. We have GP trainees/registrars placed at the practice for between 6-12 months.
GP registrars are fully qualified doctors who have made the decision to undertake the specialist training to become General Practitioners. The training scheme lasts for a minimum of 3 years and will include placements in both General Practice and the hospital.
During their placements they will be supervised by one of the doctors at the practice.
They will also be required to carry out a variety of assessments during their placement including recording some consultations (only with individual patient consent)
We would be grateful for all your support assisting in their training.
Medical Student Training
We are also proud to provide undergraduate training at Broomhill & Lodge Moor Surgeries. We have medical students from Sheffield University Medical School placed at the practice throughout the year.
During their placements they will be supervised by one of the doctors at the practice.
