REQUESTING APPOINTMENTS
We offer a wide variety of appointments that are available to book by contacting the surgery by telephone, using the NHS App or AirMid App.
When booking your appointment our receptionists may ask you for a brief overview of the reason you require the appointment.
This is to ensure that you are given an appointment with the most appropriate clinician to deal with your query.
Routine face to face or telephone appointments with all of our clinical team are available to book in advance.

URGENT APPOINTMENTS
For urgent appointments we have a number of book on the day appointments available across the week.
These become available from 8.00am each day.
If we have no further appointments available on any given day you may be directed to other service or given appropriate health advice.
HOME VISITS
We carry out home visits for our housebound patients on request.
In order to ensure we can visit you on the same day as your visit request we ask that you contact the surgery before 11:00am
WE WILL ONLY TAKE VISIT REQUESTS BY TELEPHONE – PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL THE PRACTICE OR USE THE ONLINE CONTACT REQUEST
We have an Emergency Care Practitioner who is also available to visit if needed.
WE WILL ONLY VISIT PATIENTS WHO ARE HOUSEBOUND
WE ASK WHERE POSSIBLE THAT PATIENTS ATTEND APPOINTMENTS AT THE SURGERY IF THEY ARE ABLE.
CANCELLING APPOINTMENTS
If you are unable to attend your appointment we ask that you contact the surgery to cancel your appointment at your earliest opportunity.
You can also cancel your appointment by responding to the SMS reminder or by using the NHS App or AirMid App
PATIENT ONLINE SERVICE ACCESS
We are pleased to offer an online platform for our patients to contact the practice with non-urgent medical or administrative requests.
All queries will be reviewed by one of our team within 5 working days.
We will only respond to requests within our core working hours.
The service will be unavailable when the surgery is closed (This includes weekends and Bank Holidays)

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE TO CHASE HOSPITAL APPOINTMENTS OR TEST RESULTS CARRIED OUT BY THE HOSPITAL – PLEASE CONTACT YOUR HOSPITAL SPECIALIST DIRECTLY FOR THESE REQUESTS
When submitting a request please remember to answer the questions as thoroughly as possible. This will enable our clinicians and clerical team to respond to your request appropriately.
Do not submit any information that you are not willing to appear in your primary care records as all requests will be saved into your records along with our response.
Do not submit any third party information (information about a family member, relative or friend)
NHS App and AirMid App
You can use the NHS App to order your prescriptions, request or cancel appointments online and review your GP records (including blood results and hospital letters)
