Prescriptions

PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS

You can use the NHS App or AirMid App to order your repeat prescriptions online without the need to call the surgery.

All prescriptions are now issued electronically to your nominated pharmacy via the national Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

We have been made aware that there is an issue with the way the NHS App communicates with SystmOne (the computer system we use for your medical records) which means that if your medication is not yet due it may not appear on the list of medication for you to request. We have been working closely with SystmOne to rectify this.

SystmOne offers an online application, AirMid, as an alternative to the NHS App which you can register with by clicking on the link below.

If you are unable to use the online services or have a query about your medication you can contact the surgery by telephone.

We ask that you contact the surgery after 10am to discuss prescription requests

PHARMACY SERVICES

You can nominate a pharmacy locally to have your prescriptions sent directly to the pharmacy of your choice.

Some pharmacies offer an prescription ordering service and can request your prescription on your behalf.

We can also send prescriptions to another pharmacy as a one off prescription if it is more convenient.
